Natasha Borzilova performs at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion

Folk singer songwriter and Hadley Music Group artist Natasha Borzilova was a hit during her September 2016 performances at the Bristol Rhythm & Roots performances in Bristol, TN/VA. She did several shows in a two day engagement. A few names included in the festivals always impressive lineup were The Indigo Girls, Darrell Scott Band, Hayes Carll, Marty Stuart, Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn.

Natasha Borzilova chosen as SERFA official showcase artist

Hadley Music Group recording artist Natasha Borzilova was selected as an official showcase artist at the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance conference in Montreat, North Carolina. She will perform a 25 minute showcase for venue owners and DJs as well as several late night showcases.
Showin’ My Roots receives enthusiastic reception from radio

Donna Ulisse’s Showin’ My Roots is already being received well at radio. It maintained the #1 slot on the Airplay Direct Bluegrass/Folk chart for radio digital downloads for the whole month of October with over 900 downloads by radio.
It also was #9 in the FolkDJ charts which is compiled from actual playlists of 129 DJs worldwide who report their playlists to the chart. It is also currently #10 in the EuroAmericana chart which is compiled from airplay by DJs in Europe playing Americana, bluegrass and roots music.
SiriusXM’s Bluegrass Junction continues to add songs off the album into rotation.

Uncle Hadley Music & Donna Ulisse seeing more bluegrass cuts

Bluegrass artists Nu-Blu and The Bankesters have recently recorded songs co-written by Donna Ulisse from
the Uncle Hadley Music catalog. Nu-Blu recorded “Guitar Case” and “That’s How I’m Supposed To Be” co-written with Marc Rossi and The Bankesters recorded “Give Me This Day” co-written with Kerry Chater and Lynn Gillespie Chater. All three cuts have been receiving airplay on bluegrass and folk radio.
As Ulisse has more success writing and recording her own songs, she is receiving more requests from other acts for songs out of her catalog. She also continues to co-write with a variety of other singer-songwriters as well as alone.

“Balancing Act” by Natasha Borzilova makes strong showing in October 2010 Folk DJ Chart

Natasha Borzilova’s newest release “Balancing Act” has been warmly received by Folk DJs reporting to the Folk DJ chart. The album was #9 out of the top 65 albums for the month of October 2010 while Natasha was #8 in the artist chart along with folk icons such as Judy Collins, John Prine, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger as well as artists such as Dar Williams, Justin Townes Earle and Robert Plant. Her songs “Ghost’ and “End of September” made a showing in the singles chart at #9 and #16 respectively.
The Folk DJ chart of October was based on 13215 airplays from 151 different DJs worldwide with many of the shows broadcasting on college and local public radio stations. To view the chart click here and then click on October 2010 airplay.

Balancing Act by Natasha Borzilova shipped to radio

Natasha recently stopped by the Hadley offices to look at her new CD and they were already heading out the door to radio. “Balancing Act” will be shipping to approximately five hundred folk DJs around the globe with shows on college or NPR stations. It has also been made available for digital download by radio broadcasters on the Airplay Direct site which is revolutionizing the way radio stations receive music.
